The NFL Preseason for Seattle Seahawks started with a scare as the wide receiver, Johnson left the field on a stretcher. After checking the player for head and neck injuries, the reports came stating him to be stable.
Johnson, for Seattle, caught the first two passes of his NFL career last season. Late in the second quarter of the game on Thursday he was rushed to the medical tent. Richardson sustained a concussion after he took a hard hit on a kickoff return.
Tyler Lockett went with his fellow wide receiver to the tent. The Seahawks later said that Johnson will be taken to the Harborview Medical Center for any injury. The team also revealed that he is in stable condition.
Johnson’s reports of neurological tests came back positive from the Harborview Medical Center. Coach Carrol said, “The first that we heard is there are no findings. He got concussed, but there are no findings beyond that,”
“So we got a real good report. I’m hoping that’s conclusive, but that’s what we heard.”
Cade Johnson is being transported to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution for head and neck injuries. He's in stable condition.
Prayers are up for him.

Lockett who wasn’t participating in Thursday’s game jogged from Johnson’s tent to the locker room. After returning later, it appeared he was holding a mobile or something similar.
Then Lockett and Fant followed Johnson as medical assistants took him on a stretcher through the tunnel in the southeast corner of the stadium. During Seahawks home games, an ambulance parks there.
In 2021, Seattle signed Johnson as an undrafted rookie free agent. As part of their special-teams unit, Johnson did his practice as a punt returner and kickoff.
Seattle won the game 24-13.
