Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel is keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to naming his starting Quarterback for their first preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
Vrabel did admit the team had made a choice between Ryan Tannehill, Malik Willis, or Will Levis, but he would not say which.
He told reporters, “It’s not a decision we’re gonna share.”
The Titans are away to the Saints in Week 1, and preseason is normally the period almost all HC’s like to name their starting QB..
Tannehill is the favorite, while Willis is listed as No. 2 QB and Levis at No. 3.
Why the big mystery, we can only speculate. But Vrabel will not be on the touchline when the Titans take on the Bears Saturday, with assistant HC/defensive line coach Terrel Williams stepping up for duty.
Tannehill was benched in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills in a 41-7 mauling, with Willis coming in off the bench. Tannehill then suffered an ankle injury in Week 7, only to aggravate it again in Week 15.
