NFL great Tom Brady mentioned Kane"s big-money move to Bayern, after his recent visit to the United Kingdom.
Brady was in the UK to watch Birmingham City"s match, following his recent minority investment in the West Midlands club.
“Harry"s been a friend of mine for a while, said Brady to Sky Sports News. “We were supposed to meet Monday morning, and then the plans changed quickly. But [I"m] very excited for him. He was part of a great club in Tottenham, and he"s going to another great club. And I think he wanted to compete in the Champions League, and he"s gonna get a chance to do that."
Kane and Brady started chatting on Instagram because of Kane"s love for American football.
The England captain"s move to the German club may have prevented them from meeting up in person but the duo would meet again soon.
In the DFL Supercup on Saturday, Kane debuted as a substitute, although he didn"t make an impact in the 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig.
Well, it wouldn’t also be fair to judge him based on just the 20 minutes he spent on field with his new team.
His full debut will be against Werder Breman next Friday, with fans watching him globally.
