Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves recently spoke about his relationship with LA Clippers Guard Russell Westbrook.
During a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, Reaves spoke about his former teammate Russell Westbrook, who recently re-signed with the LA Clippers.
Talking about Westbrook, Reaves said, “The one thing I will say about Russ is that he was probably one of my favorite teammates I"ve ever had. Always in a good mood to me."
Speaking to Showtime Basketball"s All the Smoke podcast, Reaves said about Westbrook: “He"s one of the best teammates I"ve ever had. As a person, you can"t get much better," Reaves said. “I got COVID in December of my rookie year in Minnesota. I was, stuck in Minnesota for like seven days, so it was rough. [Westbrook] reached out three or four times, asked if I needed anything, offered to send me stuff, whatever I needed. As a person, you couldn"t get better. As a teammate, he always empowered everybody to be better, do better and want more."
Though some people try to paint Westbrook negatively, his former teammates have only good things to say about him.
