In a recent practice session, Aaron Rodgers, the starting quarterback for the Jets, experienced an injury scare.
After releasing a pass that resulted in an interception, Rodgers was seen clutching his left calf and limping.
It’s worth noting that this was his “good” calf, as he had previously injured his right calf during OTAs.
During the practice, Rodgers struggled with his performance. He completed only eight of 20 passes for the first-team offense.
Rodgers also appeared visibly frustrated, throwing seven straight incompletions at one point.
However, there was a positive moment when he connected with Wilson for a red-zone touchdown.
While it’s important to remember that this was just one practice, it serves as a reminder that despite the optimistic outlook surrounding Rodgers and the Jets, challenges may arise once the season begins especially since the team’s schedule is not to their advantage.
