Mike Gesicki injury update: New England Patriots worried about TE after shoulder injury

During a training session on Monday, Mike Gesicki the tight end of the New England Patriots picked up an injury. 

The injury sustained to his arm has now growing concerns over his availability and further participation in the upcoming practice sessions and preseason games. 

 

The tight end, signed a one-year deal with the Patriots in March, and was escorted out of the field by the trainers after the injury. 

In the 82 regular season and playoff games, Gesicki caught 233 passes for 2,633 yards and did 19 touchdowns. Due to his experience in the tight end area, he was considered of huge value to the Patriots. 

Well, due to his injury, Gesicki’s participation in the next workouts and contests is uncertain, given that he is considered to a significant member of the Patriots’ offence. 

This news however could affect Gesicki’s place in the Patriots’ offense and in their preseason games and practices.
