Former NFL offensive lineman turned media personality Ross Tucker has tweeted a video of Justin Turner’s brutally unfair strike-out, calling it “the worst I’ve ever seen.”
Boston Red Sox fans, players and Turner himself were left in disbelief when he was struck out by a wildly off-target pitch by Washington national’s pitcher Luis Garcia on Tuesday evening.
Boston still won 5-4 but the umpire dominated the headlines, with even the home broadcasting team calling the pitch one of the worst decisions they had seen. Must have been a bad call for the Wizard’s broadcast team to call it out.
Turner shakes his head in bewilderment and the dugout reaction is grim.
