In disappointing news for fans of both Taylor Swift and the NFL, because it seems that the superstar singer has turned down the opportunity to perform at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

According to a report from HITS Daily, Swift has turned down the idea of performing on the grand stage of the Super Bowl.

This isn’t the first time Swift’s name has been associated with the prestigious event. Back in 2022, TMZ Sports reported that she declined an offer to perform at Super Bowl LVII.

Well, now it seems like history is repeating itself as Swift reportedly maintains her stance on not participating in Super Bowl LVIII, which will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

One possible reason for Swift’s decision could be her extensive touring schedule. In February, during the time of the Super Bowl, she will be in Tokyo, as part of her massive The Eras Tour, which is set to conclude in November 2024.

With thousands of miles separating her from the United States, it appears unlikely that Swift will be able to make it to the big game.

Fans who have been eagerly anticipating the day when Swift would say “Yes” to a Super Bowl performance will have to exercise patience.

It seems that for now, her focus is firmly on her ongoing tour, with her next stop scheduled in Mexico City for an August 24 performance at Foro Sol.

While it may be disappointing news for Swift and NFL enthusiasts, there’s still plenty to look forward to in both the world of music and football.
