Old video resurfaces showing how Michael Oher was portrayed negatively by Blind Side author

The courtroom drama between Michael Oher and the executives and writers behind the Blind Side book and movie is playing out like a juicy drama.

Oher has said he was unhappy about being portrayed as ‘dumb’ in the book and movie, and a new video has surfaced which can be taken in a certain way.

Lewis starts off the resurfaced old film footage by poking fun at the Dean’s List at Ole Miss, the college that Oher won a scholarship and a ticket to a professional career.

According to Lewis schools like Ole Miss are sustained purely to run a successful football programme. This is as controversial as it gets for College football.

All the Southern college come in for some stick in this 3-minute clip shared on X.

“Former coach of Alabama, Crimson Tide, said we want to have a school that makes the football team proud,” he said.

“They take these kids, many of them are from the underclass or black kids in Ghettos schools around America and get them in however they get the in,” he continued.

“The schools are designed to keep their GPA to a level they can continue to play football.”

This hits too close to the bone of the Oher case against the Tuohy family, whom the offensive tackle said made millions of dollars off of his name.

The Tuohy family are reportedly set to end their conservatorship of Oher, after claiming they shared every penny of the film revenue they received from the producers, evenly and fairly.

There are reports that Oher tried a ‘shakedown’ of the family before the case.

This is an ugly case, despite the beauty of the Sandra Bullock tear-jerker movie.
