The New England Patriots cornerback, Isaiah Bolden has officially been discharged from the hospital after he sustained a head injury in a recent preseason game.

The Patriots released a statement saying that the player underwent multiple evaluation tests and was also kept under observation for a night, and was then discharged from the hospital.

The Patriots said, “We thank the medical staff at Aurora Bay Medical Center for their overnight evaluations, as well as the Patriots and Packers medical staff for their immediate on-field response and care in transporting Isaiah to a nearby hospital,”

The cornerback, Bolden took a strong blow to his upper body and as a result, he stayed on the ground still until he was taken off the field on a stretcher.

While in the game rush, Bolden’s head got smashed by Calvin Munson, his teammate while pursuing Malik Heath, Green Bay’s receiver. After the impact, he fell on the ground completely motionless.

The New England Patriots have also announced that Bolden is going to be with the team and will travel to Foxboro on Sunday.

This week the team will train in Foxboro and will go to Nashville on Thursday.

Patriots also said, “The joint practices that were scheduled with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday and Wednesday are cancelled,”

Bolden also expressed himself and said, “Appreciate the prayers more excited to be back with the guys.”

Heath also told ESPN, “I know him, so I didn’t want to finish the game,”

“I felt bad, too. It was a good thing we didn’t finish it. It was scary. That could’ve happened to me on the hit.”
