When talking about being a father on national TV, Bryce Harper choked up when describing his love for his children and the sacrifice it takes to be away from them and miss so many big moments.
“Now, I love them so much you know, they are the light in my life man, they make me happy every day. They throw me every day, people don’t understand you know, you get taken away from them a lot, as they grow up you guys in the media know you know in professional sports you are always on the road, you’re always traveling, you miss their first steps, you know the way they talk, you know I’m missing them right now, I’m getting emotional, I love my kids so much.”
