Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour has taken the world by storm. During this tour, Swift has 68 total shows in North America. Rain or shine, she’s going out there and performing every night. New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has taken notice of Swift and her “toughness.”

Swift performed at Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play, back in May and the performance caught the eye of the future Hall of Fame coach. It was a rainy evening in Foxborough, Massachusets, but Swift did not let that stop her. She was on stage for over three hours doing everything in her power to give the fans a show.

Her ability to overcome adversity and remain composed despite having to perform in the rain impressed Belichick. “She’s tough, man. She just stood out there and played right through it.”

Belichick is hoping to see a similar sense of toughness and perseverance in his team as they gear up for the start of the 2023 NFL regular season. The Patriots host the reigning NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Sept. 10 in their season opener.

The team recently signed former Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliot to form one of the better backfield duos in the NFL.

Despite being enamored with Swift’s showing at Gillette Stadium, Belichick was reluctant to “officially” declare himself a Swiftie. Swift is one of the most popular artists in the world, so maybe one day he’ll come around. For now, he respects and admires her work ethic and craft when it comes to putting on a show for her fans.
