Guard Sam Cosmi was not overly impressed with his team’s preseason performances, despite the Commanders snapping the Ravens’ preseason win record on Monday night.
The Commanders had a tough season last time out with an 8-8 record, the worst in the NFC East.
Going into the early week match-up, the Ravens had the record for most preseason wins in 24-game winning streak, but Commanders broke the streak, the first time the Baltimore team had lost in preseason since 2015.
But it seems like Cosmi is not concerned with preseason games despite a tight 29-28 win, won by a 49-meter field goal by Joey Slye with nine seconds on the clock.
"I think [the Raven’s win streak] is a stupid record, I mean who gives a s**** about preseason games," he called before the game.
The Guardians will be taking on the Cardinals at home in their first conference outing before a week 2 trip to take on the Broncos in Denver.

Those are the games that count, not an NFL officially sanctioned pre-season win-streak.
He is right, nobody cares about preseason, if no key players are injured and there are positive plays both defensively and offensively then the camp was a good one. The real s*** begins in September.
The former Texas Longhorns guard is relatively new to the NFL but even he knows what’s what in the scorebook.
