The level of umpiring errors made over the past two weeks has been diabolical with some huge calls being missed.
Well, the latest in a string of umpire disasters happened in the 11th inning of the Razorbacks’ win over the Texas Rangers.
Umpire Doug Eddings had the second lowest correct call rate all season and now averages 84.9% correct calls this campaign.
The Rangers still lead the AL West with a 71-53 season but are only one win better than the second placed Astros.
They have been below par going 4-6 in their last 10, but with calls like this, it may be costly for the Texas team come playoff time.
The dodgy call and the complete disbelief by the Bally Sports broadcast team is entertaining, in an odd, way – but if you are a Rangers fan look away.
"Nooo, what?! What in the world?!"
"That is… that is incredibly frustrating."
"I mean, not only is it outside, but it's missed location."
"It's a big time missed location."
The Bally Sports Southwest Rangers broadcast couldn't believe this call in the 11th inning.⚾️👮♂️ pic.twitter.com/wUCvF3UaJ8
