The Baltimore Ravens selected Zay Flowers with the No. 22 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft with the hopes of adding some much-needed firepower to this receiver room. One person who has been very excited about the decision is Ravens quarterback Josh Johnson.
Johnson delivered a pass to Flowers in their recent preseason loss to the Washington Commanders that Flowers took to the end zone:

It was an incredible 26-yard touchdown that allowed Flowers to show what he can do with the ball in his hands. He is such a gifted athlete with high-end burst and explosiveness, which gives him a chance to score on any play.
The Ravens have to be feeling upbeat after seeing they have finally given franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson a dynamic player who can line up on the outside or play in the slot. “Zay is different,” said Josh Johnson. He went on to say “he’s a very exciting player, and his moves are wild, and it’s like that every day.”
Flowers continues to stand out this Summer since being drafted by the Ravens and figures to be a big part of the team’s plans right away. He joins Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman to form one of the most exciting receiving trios in the NFL under the Ravens new offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
The Ravens rookie wideout could find himself firmly in the mix for the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award thanks to his incredible playmaking skills.
