There has been a new development in the trade talk of Indianapolis Colts running back, Jonathan Taylor.
According to Stephen Holder of ESPN, the Colts have given the running back a deadline till Tuesday to find a suitable option.
Through reports, we it has been clear that Taylor has been given permission to seek a trade, and that six teams are ready to make a move.
Well, two teams of the six, have also gone ahead and discussed options with the Colts.
However, ironically the running back is also interested in a contract extension with the Indianapolis Colts, where as the team as a result has not been in a position to extend his contract.
With the teams requiring to conclude their rosters by August 29th, the Colts are looking for a good return in exchange for Taylor.
According to Holder, if the AFC South Club is going to trade the running back, they want a first-round pick or a package of picks that it considers to be equally valuable to a first-rounder.
Meanwhile, one team that is possibly looking to trade for Taylor are the Miami Dolphins, according to multiple sources.
Furthermore, with the running back already on the physically unable-to-perform list, it seems like he might miss the first four weeks of the season if he goes into the reserve unable-to-perform list.
On Saturday, owner Jim Irsay in the team"s preseason broadcast, said, "I know [general manager] Chris Ballard is going to work hard and get the waters as calm as they can and go forward."
Well, with the season starting soon, fans and analysts are expecting the trade to end soon.
