The New York Yankees finally broke a nine-match losing streak when they demolished the Nationals 9-1 last night in a dominant showing.
Aaron Judge hit three homes runs, including a homer and the 31-year old 5x-time All-Star will be the toast of the city.
The Yankees are still bottom of the AL East but have improved their record to 61-65.
The Yankees will be looking for back-to-back wins later today when they entertain the Washington-based team.
Could this win be the catalyst for a late playoff push?
