Former NFL punter and now-turned analyst Pat McAfee believes new Colts QB Anthony Richardson will lead his former team to the Superbowl this season.
McAfee is a colorful commentator and well-known broadcasting voice of the NFL and despite his allegiances to the Colts, he sincerely believes the Indianapolis team can make a charge.
The former West Virginia punter and All-American hijacked an ESPN broadcast to tell the bemused commentators that Richardson is the next big thing out of the Colt’s stable.
Richardson, a fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, played out of Florida and will be looking to make an immediate impact on his Rookie season.
McAfee may be a little off his rocker as the Colts had a dismal 4-12 record with one tie, but kudos to the big many for setting his stall out early.
Richardson had stellar 2022 College year passing for 2,598yards and joined Cam Newton and Daunte Culpepper as the only QB’s to achieve a perfect RAS score.
Despite nasal septum surgery to improve his breathing, Colts head coach Shane Steichen has named the dynamic QB as his team’s starter.
