The NFL is gearing up for the 104th season in league history and set up a hilarious ad campaign to get the fans excited for the 2023-24 season.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the NFL’s poster boy, teamed up with actor Keegan-Michael Key to prepare their “scripts” for the upcoming campaign.

Former Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster went viral earlier this year for comments he made on Barstool Sports’ Macrodosing podcast regarding the NFL being rigged. He went on to say that players were given “scripts” at their lockers during training camp each year.
Since Foster made these claims, players and fans have poked fun at the notion on social media. It has become such a trending topic of discussion that the NFL decided to revolve its commercial around it for the impending season.
In the commercial, Key is surrounded by some of the NFL’s most recognized players in a meeting to discuss their roles for the upcoming season. Players such as Mahomes, Jalen Ramsey, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Fields, Kirk Cousins, and DK Metcalf.
One of the “scriptwriters in the commercial hilariously proposes that Chase makes a “no-handed” in Week 1 of the fourth quarter when the Cincinnati Bengals face the Cleveland Browns. Chase responds to the suggestion by saying “No hands? How…”
We’re all wondering that too, Ja’Marr. But we’d certainly love to see you do it if it was real. The NFL season is set to kick off on Sept. 7 when the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs host the Detroit Lions.
