Watch: Ja’Marr Chase has a script for the NFL 2023 season: MVP, OPOY and Super Bowl title

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase knows all about flipping the script, finishing as his team’s leader in receptions and receiving yards last season, despite missing four games with a hip injury.

Chase helped his team to a deep run last campaign and was selected to the Pro-Bowl for his second successive year.

He was destructive in the Cincinnati team’s Wild Card Round playoff win against the Ravens, with nine receptions and a touchdown.

He then helped the Bengals hammer the Bills 27-10 in the Divisional Round game, catching five passes.

The NFL shared a 35 second clip that has gone viral on X.

In the video he said that after winning Offensive Rookie of the Year (2021) he will now win the Offensive Player of the Year award.

“Consider this; Joe Burrow MVP, Ja’Marr Chase Offensive Player of the Year and to top it off – Cincinnati Bengals; Superbowl champions,” he says pointing at his Superbowl-ring-in-waiting.

The LSU alumni is cheeky, confident and could very well be writing the script as to how the season unfolds.
