Shohei Ohtani is one of a kind and is counted among one of the best players currently in baseball. What truly distinguishes Ohtani is that he plays in two ways.
Well, he is a pitcher and a hitter as well.
Ohtani, the two-way player suffered damage and yet still made contributions to his team, which has now likely put him on the path requiring a second Tommy John surgery.
Well, this comes after Ohtani played for the team despite suffering from a strain.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, the Angels player was diagnosed with torn UCL, and the Angels want to be clear that it isn’t their fault.

For everyone involved the news has been disheartening. However, the injuries and their timeline have been much talked about recently.
The general manager of the Los Angeles Angels, Perry Minasian, has made clear that no injuries went unnoticed due to the teams’ negligence.
He also revealed that Ohtani and his agent had also passed up to do an MRI earlier this month, making it clear that the team is not to be blamed for any of the consequences.
Minasian also revealed that no elbow pain was mentioned by Ohtani until the day the injury was observed.
Well, now that Ohtani played a few games with a strained elbow, it has also put him in way of a likely second Tommy John surgery and disrupting what was expected to be the most lucrative free agency in MLB history.
