Amid the recent show of poor umpiring decisions in several games, the most recent one was during a game between the LA Dodgers and the Boston Red Sox, with the Red Sox winning the game.
However, the game’s outcome was overshadowed by the dissatisfaction expressed by the Dodgers’ players, coach, and fans with the strike zone called by home plate umpire Jordan Baker.
In the top of the 8th inning, with two outs and the bases loaded, Dodgers’ third baseman Max Muncy stepped up to the plate facing Red Sox’s reliever Chris Martin, hoping to turn the game in his team’s favor.
Well, a controversial call on a low splitter resulted in a strikeout.
Despite Muncy’s conviction that the pitch was low, the umpire perceived it differently and called it a strike.

However, Muncy expressed his frustration over a strike three call by umpire Jordan Baker by hurdling his bat several feet in the air, which went unnoticed triggering a heated protest from both Muncy and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
Meanwhile, the livid reactions by Muncy and manager Roberts resulted in both of them being ejected from the game.
The Dodgers were leading 7-5 before Muncy was taken out of the game. Muncey had one for five, two RBIs, and a home run his 30th of the season) before being ejected.
Well, this is not the first time players and managers have been ejected from a game, after protests against bad umpiring.
