In a recent NFL preseason game between the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars, the match was suspended after rookie WR Daewood Davis of the Dolphins suffered a while attempting a catch with only 8:32 remaining in the fourth quarter.

In recent news, the Miami Dolphins have released a statement on social media stating that, Davis, who had been injured during the game, has been released from the hospital and will be traveling back to Miami with team personnel.

This update comes after coach Mike McDaniel announced on Sunday that Davis had been placed in concussion protocol.

“He’s doing better than last night in terms of strength and stuff,” McDaniel said. “Like I said last night, there were certain things that we were worried about that were avoided. There’s certainly a lot of guys that are very, very, very happy and relieved to see him.”

Not only did the Dolphins face issues in their defensive line, but their running back, Salvon Ahmed, also came face to face with potential hardship.

Ahmed underwent concussion evaluation following a hit during the game. While he cleared the testing, his day-to-day status raises concerns about his availability in upcoming matches.

Well, now with Davis out of danger, the team would be looking forward to his steady recovery and return to the team.
