Former NBA Champion Lamar Odom recounted a subconscious experience with Kobe Bryant, where his former Lakers teammate came to him in a series of dreams and offered some transcendental advice.
Bryant came to Odom in a dream and said "[Hello, the afterlife ain’t what people make it out to be], I didn’t know how to take that."
The pair were teammates at the LA Lakers and formed a powerful offensive pairing. Bryant passed away on January 26th, 2020, in a tragic helicopter crash, at Calabasas, 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Bryant is widely regarded as one of the all-time greats and has a list of achievements almost as long as Odom’s 2.08 m frame.
Kobe was an 18-time NBA All-Star, five NBA Championship winner, NBA MVP in 2008 among a hoist of awards.
Odom played for four NBA franchises over an illustrious career but found true fame when he married Khloé Kardashian and was soon a regular on the hit TV show Keeping up with the Kardashians.
There was even a spin-off series Khloé & Lamar but was canned after two seasons.
Odom went off the rails, falling into substance abuse and arrest. After a serious cocaine binge Odom suffered 12 strokes, several heart attacks and kidney failure. He was comatose and place on life support. He recovered and his divorce with Kardashian was not processed as she wanted to give him chance to fully heal.
Heal he did, before going on to making an appearance in Celebrity Big Brother. It was at this time that Odom’s says that Bryant came to visit him in his dreams on at least 4 occasions.
