Watch: Josh Jacobs ends holdout joins the Raiders, but with a slight change

Josh Jacobs, the former running back of Alabama has concluded his holdout and has joined the Las Vegas Raiders.

He has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract and the value stands at $12 million. 

Jacobs will also be changing his jersey number from Number 28 to Number 8. He was selected in the 2019 first round and has taken a new leaf with his jersey number while starting a novel season. 

The Las Vegas Raiders took to platform X, formerly Twitter to announce the exciting new number for their talented player, Jacobs. The number 8 was his jersey number when he played for the University of Alabama. 

Following a contract dispute with the team, Jacobs missed majority of  the preseason and training camp. 

He may now earn $12 million in 2023, and the Raiders seem to be happy to have him on board. 

The incredible running back led his NFL games with 1,653 rushing yards and 12 further rushing touchdowns in 2022. Jacobs was named first-team All-Pro last season and to the Pro Bowl, twice.
