Former NBA small forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was instrumental in helping the USA cruise past Greece in yesterday’s FIBA Basketball World Cup match, with the score line of 109-81.
Hollis-Jefferson helped the USA to the top of Group C, with a perfect 2/0 record.
The FIBA WC is held every four years, and the USA are tied with Yugoslavia with 5 title wins apiece.
The former Nets player was drafted into the NBA as the 23rd overall pick in 2015, and also spent time with the Raptors and the Trailblazers. He currently plies his trade in Puerto Rico, playing for the Atleticos de San German.
He tapped into his inner Kobe Bryant, scoring 39 points, with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

The former Arizona Wildcats college player was talking about one of the world’s best all-time players Kobe Bryant, who sadly passed away more than three years ago in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
