Tom and Gisele first sparked headlines when they started dating in December 2006. On February 26, 2009, they sealed their love with an intimate Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica, California.
In December 2009, they welcomed their son, Benjamin Rein Brady, into the world, followed by the birth of their daughter, Vivian Lake Brady, in December 2012.
Rumors and speculation about Brady and Bündchen"s marriage swirled in early 2022 when the NFL legend came out of retirement to rejoin the gridiron with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It started especially after Gisele expressed her concerns about the violent nature of football and its potential impact on Brady"s long-term well-being.
“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," shared Bündchen in an interview with Elle.
She added:
“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too."
Finally, to put all the rumors to rest, October 2022 marked the end of a 13-year union between Tom Brady and his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen as the duo announced the finalization of their divorce.
The NFL world was hit with another bombshell on February 1, 2023, when Brady announced his retirement “for good."
