On August 29, the Las Vegas Raiders made a roster move that left Defensive End Isaac Rochell without a spot on the initial 53-man roster.
As the NFL’s mandated cutdown day approached, the Raiders released Rochell, only to re-sign him to the practice squad on August 29, 2023.
The unexpected move has not only cast a shadow over Rochell’s NFL career but has also raised concerns for his wife, Allison Kuchel, as the couple awaits the birth of their unborn baby.
Kuchel has taken to TikTok to express her feelings about the recent developments in their lives.
Despite the abrupt alteration in Rochell’s career trajectory, Kuchel remains steadfast in her belief in her husband’s capabilities.
She passionately stated, “Every opportunity he’s given, he f–king kills it, so I’m not really worried about Isaac.”
While Kuchel’s faith in Rochell’s abilities remains unshaken, her immediate concerns have shifted towards the impending birth of their baby.
“At the end of the day, I just wanna know where I’m gonna give birth, like, that’s my main concern right now.”
Isaac was selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers.
After getting promoted to the team’s active roster in December 2017, he played with the team till 2020.
Following that, he went on to join the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 and later played for the Cleveland Browns in 2022.
On December 28, 2022, Rochell joined the Las Vegas Raiders shortly after ending his practice squad agreement with the Cleveland Browns.
