Rockies Coors Field scoreboard – Is it a little too high?

The scoreboard at Coors Field never fails to tickle the funny bone, and their latest derring-do is a bizarre yet hilarious advertisement.

At least we think it is an advert, printed ‘high’ above the bleachers.

Coors Field has been open for 28 years and has a record capacity of over 51,000 fans, and at least half that amount would be confused by the wording, while the other half will get the joke. Depends on if you are a glass half high kinda guy.

Fruity Pebbles is a cereal snack that does not take itself too seriously, or so the brand would have us believe, and their scoreboard text likened them to, “… the barnacles if the food product world. Leave a half-finished bowl out to dry? You’re better just tossing that dish in the garbage.

They go on to say rather than dismiss the pieces of dried fruit-y cereal ‘semi-edible arthropods’ patrons must rather use them as weapons in the upcoming Glue Wars.

Yep, the Glue wars, which is an odd forthcoming conflict. Is it meant to signify getting high, the munchies, the trippy effects of the herb or is it just meaningless words jumbled together. Wait, isn’t that the Stoner dictionary?

The Rockies need some laughs, they are currently bottom of the NL West with a dismal 49-84 record.
