Shabazz Napier tells me to take a DNA test” Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on his resemblance to Kobe

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson the American-Jordanian has been dubbed as the clone of the late legendary player, Kobe Bryant, aka. Black Mamba.

Recently, the power forward has shown promising performance in Manila. However, the most perplexing aspect of him is that he was a well-known former NBA player.

A ferocious defender during his time in the NBA, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was selected with the 23rd overall choice in the 2015 draft. On the FIBA World Cup court, he resembles Kobe Bryant identically.

Even elements of Black Mamba’s idiosyncrasies, like the way he moves his shoulder just before shooting a free throw, are present in the way Hollis-Jefferson moves and shoots.

Hollis-Jefferson has also revealed that ex-NBA guard Shabazz Napier has pushed the forward to take a DNA test as the similarity is incredible and to check if he is a cousin of Kobe or not.

Hollis-Jefferson said, "Shabazz Napier tells me to take a DNA test".

Hollis-Jefferson appreciates the love the fans have shown him and with deep respect, he also treasures when they compare him to the legend. According to ABS-CBN, the power forward said, "It’s an honor for people to say that (being compared to Kobe), but at the end of the day, Kobe is Kobe, and I’m Rondae. I definitely watch a lot of film [of him], [and we have] similar size and athletic abilities,".

The chant of "Kobe’s" name came every time the ball came to Hollis Jefferson"s hands which is absolutely an amazing salute any player can give to the late icon, "Black Mamba".
