In a recent interview with Us Weekly, New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter dished about the joys and challenges of parenthood with his wife, Hannah Davis.
Apparently, the retired MLB superstar playfully attributed their children’s mischievous traits to her.
He was quick to point out that Hannah’s genes shine through in their daughters when they behave “loud and whiny.”
Yet, the proud father didn’t miss the opportunity to highlight his role.
Jeter couldn’t help but grin as he revealed:
“When they’re quiet, calm, and actually listening, then it reminds me of me.”
It seems the daughters have got a little bit of both of us in them.
Derek Jeter and Hannah Jeter tied the knot in 2016 after dating for four years.
The pair embraced parenthood in August 2017 when their eldest daughter, Bella was born.
Just over a year later, in January 2019, Hannah gave birth to their second daughter, Story.
The Jeters welcomed two more bundles of joy in rapid succession. Their third daughter, River was born in December 2021, while their first son, Kaius, joined the family in May 2023.
Both River and Kaius were born via surrogate.
Derek Jeter also opened up about the evolving family scenario now that a baby boy has entered the mix, suggesting a “different dynamic” with the newest addition.
