“He’s making s**t up” Aaron Rodgers responds to Jihad Ward as barbs continue

The war of words between veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Jets and Giants LB Jihad Ward is the talk of the Big Apple ahead of the start of the new NFL season.

The Battle of New York has started getting heated, with Rodgers replying to Ward that, I think he is making up s***”.

Rodgers was referring to an incident when the Giants played the Jets in a preseason game, with the 39-year-old QB and Ward exchanging words and maybe a shove or two.

The battle escalated when Ward indicated that Rodgers was making fun of his teammates.

“He thought we were laughing at his teammate. That never happened,” Rodgers said, adding, “I don’t care.”

The encounter happened in the Jets’32-24 win.

Ward was upset when Randall Cobb smashed into Bobby McCain, with an illegal blindside block, leaving the safety with a concussion. He was further annoyed by the alleged ‘laughter’ that Rodgers and his Jets teammates allegedly committed.

The season is yet to begin and already the gloves have come off and teeth are baring.
