The Los Angeles Rams’ wide receiver, Cooper Kupp, recently suffered a setback in the training camp due to a hamstring injury.
Coach Sean McVay, known for downplaying the severity of injuries, has labeled Kupp as “day-to-day.”
However, recent developments hint that his return may not be as imminent as initially suggested.
Rams WR Cooper Kupp is technically day-to-day with a hamstring problem. But it sounds as if he won't be playing any day soon. https://t.co/08jiJZPCxC

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports, Kupp has traveled to Minnesota to consult with a “noted body specialist” in order to better understand the root cause of his recurring hamstring issues.
The goal, per the report, is to determine the “root of the issue,” given that Kupp has had two pulls in one summer.
Given the ongoing concerns surrounding Kupp’s hamstring injury, it appears unlikely that he will be back on the field anytime soon, especially in time for the Rams’ season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
