Terence Steele contract update: How much will the Cowboys tackle earn with the contract extension??

The Dallas Cowboys have signed Terence Steele to a novel five-year contract extension. The latest contract is worth $86.8 million, and $50 million is guaranteed. The maximum value of the deal is set at $91.8 million.

This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys acquired Trevon Diggs for five years at $97 million.

The Cowboys are putting together huge financing options in a way that will enable a new contract for Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. They will also be looking out for Micah Parsons when he becomes eligible after the 2023 season.

Steele concluded his 2022 season with an injury, after he sustained an injury in Week 13 when he was playing against the Houston Texans and tore his ACL.

With the latest deal, the offensive tackle has become the eighth highest-paid tackle in the NFL.

Steele has now recovered from his injury and thanked Britt Brown, the Cowboys" director of rehabilitation, for all of his assistance in his recuperation.

According to ESPN, Steele said "It"s been a long road,"

“Just taking it day by day, super proud of how I approached it and just how my teammates and my coaches and my family have been there supporting me. Without them, it would"ve been a lot harder."

McCarthy claimed that Steele didn"t spend a single day on the physically unable-to-perform list. He was present in the training room every day and focused on his exercises.

A wonderful impression was made on head coach Mike McCarthy by Terence Steele, who said, "I can remember watching him move in rookie orientation there, the pandemic year, just being impressed with him [from] day one and we hadn"t even put the pads on yet,"

“His work ethic and just the way he goes about it, I mean, he"s always been no-nonsense, extremely coachable, very bright, and he"s a glue guy. I mean, he"s really connected strongly not only in the O-line room but the locker room. Terence is a stud."
