In recent times, discussions about Dak Prescott’s responsibility for limiting turnovers and head coach Mike McCarthy’s involvement in the play-calling have been widespread.

But quarterback Dak Prescott firmly believes that the 2023 Dallas Cowboys offense is ready to shine once again.

With a roster that is locked and loaded with playmakers, Prescott is confident that brighter Sundays are on the horizon.

He gave this assurance during an interview with the team website.

“Yeah, a lot of speed. You can name a lot of guys,” Prescott said of the offense, “We have a” few guys that have speed but are playmakers.

Speed is one thing, but to be a playmaker is another thing.”

The cowboy’s roll call includes Brandin Cooks, who recently joined the team after a disappointing term with the Houston Texans.

Despite his struggles, Cooks still possesses remarkable speed and agility, making him a valuable asset to the Cowboys’ offense.

Meanwhile, 2022 was undoubtedly a disappointing year for wide receiver Michael Gallup.

However, with a year of recovery from a torn ACL behind him, he shone through with an impressive 1,100-yard season.

CeeDee Lamb has emerged as one of the top wideouts in the game, showcasing his skills and earning his second Pro Bowl appearance last season.

On the other hand, KaVontae Turpin, primarily recognized for his prowess in the kicking game, is poised to seize more offensive opportunities in the upcoming 2023 season.

Nevertheless, the team’s roster is Complemented by a rookie, fleet-footers, and the team’s most-prized free-agent and a running back with 1,000-yard NFL seasons to their credit.

During Super Bowl week, Lamb made a point of emphasizing the need for Dak Prescott to be surrounded by more weapons.

The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback, Prescott, shares that belief, acknowledging that the team have done that and his shouldering the responsibility in helping them achieve their potentials

“For me, it’s about getting these guys the ball,” Prescott said. “Whether it’s in the run game or the pass game, or just out in space to allow them to do what they do best — break tackles, make people miss and show off their speed.

We’ve got a handful of guys and that’s going to make my job easier.”
