Chicago Bears clarify logo change confusion, “C” will remain on the helmet

The Chicago Bears have been attracting the attention and speculation of every football fan with the news of their logo change.

As per the official brand guidelines of the organization, the Chicago Bears have listed the Bear’s head as the squad’s primary logo.

While the “C” logo is listed as the secondary logo.

Earlier, this was the opposite; the “C” logo was the primary logo and the Bear’s head was the secondary logo, as a result, whispers spread that the Bears would redesign their uniform and field to feature the mascot’s head.

However, the Bears later acknowledged in a statement in August that they had switched their primary and secondary logos, and also provided clarity that the adjustment was purely conceptual.

The Chicago Bears said, “The Bear head has been a co-primary mark for many years,”

“It is unique to the Chicago Bears brand. This minor change simply provides clarity for retail, media, and other team and league partners to start the creative process with the Bear head.”

The team has also confirmed that the “C” logo will continue to be on the player’s helmet and at the 50-yard line.

Well, the “C” logo has been with the franchise since 1962, and the team has also kept its official uniform design for five decades.
