A study, conducted by Canada Sports Betting researchers, analyzed over 500 keywords related to NFL teams from over the past three years.
Well, these keywords covered many topics, including team merchandise, individual players, stadiums, and game tickets.
Cincinnati Bengals fans claimed the title of the NFL’s most loyal fanbase, the remarkable 80 percent year-over-year increase in search volume related to Bengals keywords set them apart.
Even one of the Bengals’ fiercest rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, experienced an uptick in fan dedication but fell short of matching the fever displayed by the Bengals fans.
However, the other NFL team from Ohio, the Cleveland Browns, found themselves at the opposite end of the spectrum.
Meanwhile, Browns fans witnessed a substantial drop of 34 percent in search volume each year, marking the steepest decline among all NFL teams. It’s worth noting that this ranking is based on search data and not a reflection of fan loyalty alone.
