The anticipation is building as the Cincinnati Bengals prepare for their season opener against the Cleveland Browns, with all eyes on the talented rookie quarterback, Joe Burrow.
After missing a significant portion of training camp due to a calf injury, Burrow has been actively participating in practice sessions.
However, the Bengals’ social media team released the following video of Burrow hitting Ja’Marr Chase on a deep pass during practice.

Despite not making an official announcement, head coach Zac Taylor has praised Burrow’s performance during practice, indicating that the quarterback is looking good.

“Today was a really good day for him.
It was encouraging to see,” Taylor said, via Paul Dehner Jr. of TheAthletic.com.
Taylor added that the Bengals and Burrow are “continuing to take it day to day right now.”
In a recent interview, offensive coordinator Brian Callahan reassured reporters that the team has established a well-thought-out plan to ensure Burrow’s readiness for the season opener.
Yet While the signs point towards Burrow playing on Sunday, the Bengals have taken precautions by having alternative options available.
Jake Browning, currently on the 53-man roster, and Will Grier, present on the practice squad, provide the necessary depth at the quarterback position in case Burrow’s recovery does not progress as expected.
