Is the NFL scripted? There has been plenty of speculation over the years on whether or not the NFL is rigged and former NFL running back Arian Foster took things even further when he stated that he used to get a script "every year" during his playing days. Here’s what legendary quarterback Tom Brady thinks about the situation:

Brady states: "You think I really would have played along with a script that had me losing to Peyton’s [Manning] little brother, Eli, twice in the Super Bowl?"
Known for his competitive spirit, Brady has the most decorated NFL career as a seven-time Super Bowl Champion with 10 Super Bowl appearances. He is the winningest quarterback in NFL history, having won double-digit games in 19 of his 22 years as an NFL starting quarterback.
To Brady’s point, why would one the most renowned players the NFL has ever seen willingly accept a script that has him losing heartbreakingly on the game’s biggest stage to the same quarterback/team twice?
Not only did Brady lose twice to Eli Manning and the New York Giants, but the New England Patriots lost their chance of being the second team in NFL history to complete an entire season undefeated when they lost Super Bowl 42.
Brady and the rest of the 2007-08 Patriots had a chance to etch their names in NFL history as one of the only two teams to accomplish such a remarkable feat, and they gave that up to allow NFL scriptwriters to give the Giants a couple of Super Bowl rings.
