With a surprising twist, the Manning brothers, Peyton and Eli, are getting ready for their third season of ESPN’s Monday Night ManningCast. To spice up the excitement for their already popular show, they opted to conduct auditions to find a third co-host.
In the audition video, you’ve got a bunch of big names, including NFL stars like Jared Goff, Jamaar Chase, and Patrick Mahomes, as well as famous folks like Reese Witherspoon, Lil Wayne, and Sarah Silverman.

The promo, released by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, shows many famous faces trying their best to impress Peyton and Eli. However, the audition doesn’t quite go as planned for everyone, especially not for Tom Brady.
The retired quarterback, who has famously come out of retirement before, was left waiting in a room with a dog, never even getting a chance to audition. Brady humorously quipped, “I guess I’ll just come back and play football again.”
The ManningCast has been a hit with viewers, drawing in around 1.5 million people in its first two seasons.
What’s really cool is that ManningCast’s audience is younger, with a median age of 48, which is six years less than the usual NFL broadcast viewers. People seem to love Peyton and Eli’s mix of football knowledge, jokes, and chatting with celebrities.
Here is the full list of famous athletes and celebrities who appeared in the ManningCast video: Jared Goff; Jamaar Chase; Mike McDaniel; Archie Manning; Patrick Mahomes; Cam Heyward; Frank Reich; Al Michaels; Kyle Brandt; Tom Brady; Nick Sirianni; Reese Witherspoon; Mike Tyson; Will Arnett; Sarah Silverman; Lil Wayne; Pat McAfee; Kirk Cousins; Kenan Thompson; Jim Irsay; Roger Goodell; Howie Mandel; Stephen A Smith; Livvy Dunne; TJ Hockenson; Sean McVay; Trevor Lawrence; Justin Tucker; Dan Campbell; Dalvin Cook; Ray Lewis; Sean Payton; Justin Jefferson; Christian McCaffrey; and DJ Khaled.
Each auditionee brings their own style and charisma to the table, but as the video unfolds, it becomes apparent that winning over the Manning brothers is no easy task.
With the Monday Night Football season set to kick off on September 11, fans can look forward to the main telecast on ESPN and the ManningCast on ESPN2.
Omaha Productions has inked a deal to air 10 alternate telecasts throughout the 17-game regular season, promising more entertaining moments and celebrity appearances to come.
While Tom Brady may not have got the co-host role this time, viewers can expect plenty of surprises, laughs, and insightful football commentary when the Manning brothers take the stage once again.
