Besides the sign, the Yankees also donated $10,000 to the Miggy Foundation, which highlights their support for charitable causes that Cabrera cares about.
But the most emotional gift was a custom-made painting. This painting captured a captivating moment in Cabrera’s incredible career. It showed a home run he hit against the famous pitcher Mariano Rivera in August 2013.
