Deshaun Watson, the Cleveland Browns quarterback and three-time Pro Bowl selection, is all ready for the NFL’s 2023 season.
Much concern has surrounded the player, his form, and whether he will be able to shine in the same manner as he did while leading the league in passing yards in 2020.
The the quarterback missed 2021 NFL season, and last season he was absent for more than 10 games.
Watson is preparing for his NFL season and as per ESPN, he said, “I’m not the same guy,”
“I feel like I’ve improved. I’ve evolved to a new level. And I’m ready to be able to show that.”
The quarterback did start six games for the Cleveland Browns last season, and he was also suspended for eleven games, after Watson breached the league’s personal conduct policy.
With 4,823 throwing yards and 33 touchdown passes in 2020, he topped the NFL.
He also led the Texans to the second round of the playoffs in 2019.
The same year, he finished seventh in the NFL with a total quarterback rating of 70.5.
Watson, further explaining, also said, “Last year was a tricky time where I was learning everything,”
“I don’t want to return as the guy at Houston, I want to be better than that guy,”
“I had a lot of fun, a lot of success in Houston. But I want to have that success and start something new in Cleveland”.
The Cleveland Browns will start their season when they host the Cincinnati Bengals.
