In order to prevent airing any vulgarity or NSFW material, The Pat McAfee Show will be broadcast on tape delay, according to the Wall Street Journal.
McAfee’s connection with ESPN is intriguing because of his reputation for broadcasting without restraint.
In general, the Disney-owned network tries to keep its programs as kid and family-friendly as possible.
Hence, any type of profanity will be immediately taken down.
The first two hours of the show will be televised on ESPN, ESPN+, and ESPN’s YouTube channel.
Although, the third hour of the show will be available only on ESPN+ and ESPN’s YouTube channel.
Regarding this matter, McAfee expressed, “Most of us come from blue-collar towns who speak in a certain way—so I didn’t want to lose all of our swear words,”
Pat McAfee has also signed an $85 million deal with ESPN, which is a five-year deal.
