The Pat McAfee Show officially made its debut on ESPN this week and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasted no time to make an appearance. Rodgers is a close friend of Pat McAfee, host of the show and former NFL punter. He has been on the show several times, but now he revealed he will be making weekly appearances.

Rodgers called into the show to announce that he will be featured on the show every Tuesday to speak candidly on his first season with his new team, the Jets:

“I will not be censoring myself. So, if you gotta go over and watch it at different places, I will be the same old, same old. I look forward to speaking with all of you,” said Rodgers before signing off and heading to practice.

Since ESPN is part of The Walt Disney Company, they do not condone profanity or inappropriate language. As a result, an uncensored version will be available for viewers to watch on YouTube.

McAfee signed a five-year, $85 million contract to leave FanDuel and sign with ESPN. While it is a lucrative deal, it is less than McAfee was previously making with FanDuel. His previous deal with FanDuel was a four-year deal worth $120 million.

Thanks to their friendship, Rodgers has used The Pat McAfee Show as a platform for him to make important statements regarding his NFL career. For example, he initially acknowledged his desire to play for the Jets on McAfee’s show earlier this year.
