The National Football League (NFL) is set to make history in the upcoming season as nearly half of its teams plan to start a Black quarterback in Week 1.
Over the years, the NFL has predominantly featured white quarterbacks, with only a handful of black quarterbacks making significant strides.
However, the landscape has been gradually shifting, with a record-breaking 14 out of 32 teams projected to have a black signal caller leading their offense, surpassing last season’s record of having 11 black quarterbacks starting.
