Colin Cowherd is a football broadcasting veteran, yet the 20-year veteran commentator is not always right when it comes to picking results.
The host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd was roasted on social media after all his “Blazin’ 5” best five NFL bets were hilariously wrong.
Granted it is not easy picking football results, but a veteran broadcaster with two decades experience missing all five of his red-hot picks. There is a bit of comedy gold in that.
His picks on the Steelers, Colts, Patriots, Chargers and Giants all went awry.
The Colts lost by 10 to the Jaguars, the Steelers got smashed 30-7 by the 49ers, The Patriots going down at home to the Eagles (on Tom Brady Day), The Giants being shut out by the Dallas Cowboys in an NFL record week 1 loss (40-0) and the Chargers falling to the Dolphins 36-34 in a high-octane encounter.
To top it off his title pick for the College Football Playoff, Louisiana State got off to the worst start, losing to Florida State 45-24.
Cowherd couldn’t pick a cow from a bull now.
He has explained before that commentators like himself need to be interesting but not correct.
He does not have the best track record when it comes to calling games, so you may want to add some salt to his beef the next time The Herd makes some picks.
