Rodgers fell down unexpectedly on his ankle when he was being sacked by Bills pass rusher Leonard Floyd, and soon he was off the field.
The clip from the ManningCast clearly shows Peyton Manning in complete disbelief, seeing Aaron Rodgers get on the cart. His exact words on the video were, “Holy cow, I cannot believe this.”
In the first quarter of Monday night’s game, Rodgers fell to the ground in the game versus the Bills was the biggest twist of the 2023 season.
On the ManningCast, Peyton said, “I am in complete disbelief, I was thinking it was just an ankle, I thought we’d go tape it up and get him back in there.”
ESPN insider Adam Schefter spoke on Rodgers’ injury at halftime. His x-rays came negative, but the proper update on the ankle injury will be after the MRI, which is still awaiting.
