As narrated by sports commentator, Craig Kilborn to Timberwolves reporter Dane Moore, NBA"s rising star Anthony Edwards has boldly questioned the team"s owner, Alex Rodriguez, about his high-profile breakup with pop icon, Jennifer Lopez.

"So, A-Rod is getting a relationship with Anthony Edwards. You know, the famous thing, ANT didn’t know who he was, blah blah blah, now they are friends," Kilborn mentioned. So then, ANT got comfortable with him, and he called over A-Rod. "I gotta ask you something, how did you screw up J-Lo [Jennifer Lopez]? That’s who he is, right? That’s who ANT is, ain’t that funny?"

Well, this is not the first time Anthony Edwards has made such bold moves.

Previously, in April 2021, he raised eyebrows with his candid responses.

When questioned about his familiarity with former New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez and the owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Edwards dropped a bombshell:

“I don"t know who that is."

A few days later in a GQ interview, Edwards also confessed that he hadn"t even taken a moment to watch any of A-Rod"s legendary baseball highlights.

However, the 2020 first-overall draft pick did display a touch of pop culture savvy, acknowledging that Rodriguez had once been romantically linked to the global superstar, Jennifer Lopez.

He quipped, “I know he dated J.Lo, though!"

When the interviewer informed Edwards about the highly publicized breakup between Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez, Edwards didn"t hold back.

“Damn!" he exclaimed, visibly surprised by the news.

As the GQ interview unfolded, Edwards remarked:

“He gonna be my owner, I want him to be happy."

And, when he was asked whether he believed Rodriguez would be happier with Jennifer Lopez, Edwards didn"t hesitate.

He nodded emphatically and said, “Yeah!!"

In 2005, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez crossed paths for the first time at Shea Stadium in Queens, New York, where the New York Yankees were set to take on the New York Mets.

And, Jennifer Lopez, still married to the iconic Marc Anthony at the time, paused to shake A-Rod"s hand before the game began.

Fast forward to early 2017, A-Rod and J.Lo met each other again in a LA restaurant.

Sparks flew, and the rest is history.

May 2017 marked a significant milestone for the couple when they made their red carpet debut at the prestigious Met Gala in New York City.

By March 2018, A-Rod confirmed their budding romance during a guest appearance on “The View."

On March 9, 2019, A-Rod took the plunge and proposed to J.Lo. with a massive emerald-cut diamond engagement ring in the Bahamas.

However, as the world faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, A-Rod and J.Lo had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding plans.

And then came January 2021. Rumors swirled, suggesting that the couple had briefly parted ways. Reports of relationship troubles dominated headlines. A-Rod and J.Lo chose to neither confirm nor deny these reports but remained together.

Finally, in April 2021, in a joint statement, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez officially announced the end of their engagement and their decision to go their separate ways.
