The New York Giants fanbase and former Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney have not had the best relationship since the team decided to trade him to the Kansas City Chiefs last season. Once viewed as a promising piece of the Giants’ future, he and fans quickly soured on each other following his departure.
Ability has never been the question for the uber-talented and dynamic Toney, but health has been a major concern in the first two seasons of his NFL career. He played in 19 out of a possible 34 regular season games in his first two full seasons as a pro.
Toney’s injury history was enough for the Giants to decide they should move on from their former first-round pick.
After the Chiefs’ Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions, Giants fans let Toney hear it on social media following his poor performance. He dropped four passes, one of which led to a Lions pick-six. So once the Giants started getting blown out in their regular season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, Toney wasted no time to clap back at fans:

“Na don’t get quiet now,” said Toney in a post he made on Instagram regarding the Giants struggling in their game versus the Cowboys last week.
The Cowboys dismantled the Giants in a 40-0 road victory and it only added fuel to the fire for the ongoing feud between Toney and Giants fans that seems to have no end in sight.
