Known for his unapologetic and candid nature, famous television personality Stephen A. Smith was seen mocking the Dallas Cowboys fanbase.
Smith uploaded a video on X, previously Twitter, ranting about his disdain for the loyal supporters of the Cowboys, labelling them as “disgusting” and “nauseating.”
Smith admitted that his passion strongly adheres to the fanbase, not the team. His frustration lies solely with the insufferable sense of self-entitlement that the Dallas fans like to showcase.
“But over the years, my disgust for the Dallas Cowboys have very little to do with the Cowboys themselves” Smith was seen iterating, “It’s that disgusting, nauseating fan base that gets on my last damn nerve”
The host of ESPN’s First Take was then seen mocking a crying Cowboys fan, recounting how that’s his “favourite footage right there” when the team lost to the 49ers last season.
In a classic Smith move, he didn’t just stop there; but continued mocking other fans showing their pain and disdain at the loss of the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys fans are devoted to their very own “America’s Team”. Their passion is a testament to the multiple successes and hardships faced by the team and how they still successfully garnered the affection of their fans.
Smith’s comments and his problematic word choice have sparked controversy throughout the internet, and as a result, the fandom has been divided into two distinct groups. One reprimanded him, while the other defended their zeal for what they believed in.
